THe NBEDZ Board of Directors
The governing body of the North Brevard Economic Development Zone (established as the "North Brevard Development District") is a nine-person board of directors, who serve staggered terms of office. Those terms extend for a period of four years, and they may be re-appointed for consecutive terms. All board members must reside within the geographic boundaries of the Zone. Three of the directors are appointed by the City of Titusville; three directors are appointed by the current District 1 County Commissioner; the remaining three are "joint" appointments, requiring a majority vote of both the Titusville City Council and the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners.

Bart Gaetjens served for many years as the area's External Affairs Manager for Florida Power & Light Company.
Rodney Honeycutt, P.E., is the owner of Honeycutt & Associates, a civil engineering firm located in Titusville.

Stan Retz is a principal and financial adviser with Retz Baker Financial Services, Inc., in Titusville and Edgewater.
